1 of 2 known Pacific Islands 1 pound from the Burns, Philp and Co. ltd.  This exceedingly rare note is one of a series which included a few other islands, all of which are tough to obtain.  This note in particular is the only example ever appearing in public hands; sold ones in the 80s in an Australian auction for aprox 8k AUD.  The sister note serial number 5000 has not made an appearance though its existence is supposedly known according to an article associated with the auction of this note.  As it is this note is a stunning item and wont be seen elsewhere.  I have truly have enjoyed owning this note and hope it find a good home.
